Development Spotlight - 74 Wigmore Street

Behind a stunning Edwardian facade, 74 Wigmore has been refurbished and modernised along with a new reception and the addition of a roof terrace.

Originally constructed in 1847, the first occupant of the building was the Buyers' Association, a company intended to popularise American-style mail-order shopping, which offered to supply everything from groceries to cars. The site underwent a rebuild in 1907, fast forward 116 years to 2023 and The Howard de Walden Estate, that has owned the building since the beginning, has now carried out an extensive refurbishment behind the existing facade.

Adding to works carried out in 2011 that brought in two 8-person lifts, VRF air conditioning, showers, and secure bicycle storage, the building has now also had sustainability improvements, a newly refurbished reception and a roof terrace incorporated into the scheme.

Located a short stroll from the Elizabeth Line at Bond Street, and amidst the vibrant amenities of Marylebone, this 13,000 sq ft of Grade A workspace is designed for the needs of today's occupier.
